Great recap, Cali! I think our dogs are from the same litter - I thought MINE was the only one who howled if you didn't answer the phone!

Great recap, Cali, you TAR Goddess, you. I specifically hopped online today to check and see if you had this posted yet, (and I'm using your recaps to lure new TAR viewers, by the way, and it's working)

I agree with your David/Jeff assessment. I know nothing about them, and am only aware that they were in the race because they leave the pit stop and somehow end up at the next destination. They are like the invisible, unknowable team.

And the "face grab", yep, I commented on that to a friend. I.e. how strange is it for all these people to latch on to someone's face and pull it towards them. Maybe this shows the character of the NFL ladies, i.e. they're non-face grabbers, hence they're respectful of others??

Dave does a great job of standing around in costume narrating the “play” for us as Steve gets operated on with a saw. No wonder health care is free in Italy.
For some strange reason, I thought that was hilarious.

    1. Steve and Dave There was no trip for these two… I can only assume that the prize hogs from last week won Steve and Dave’s instead.
This is why I completely agree with Tokimeki's statement about the first three teams stepping on the mat at the same time. It's simply unfair. Or maybe it's just because free trips aren't given during the second leg of the race?

All in all, fantastic job, cali.

    Great job Cali!

I figured it was either will power or the fact that you were not at all attracted to your partner. Nice that she cleared that up for me.
The Sprint people called my right in the middle of Tar too. "Is this a good time?"

"No, I'm watching the amazing race, and you should be too."

    Click.

    Super recap, cali!

    My favorite:
This causes Tian and Jaree to fight some more over Jaree’s slowness. Oh, her running ability that is.

Question: On the Alpi-Venice train, one of the teams is shown holding their Route Info envelope. A green sheet was sticking out of it that looked to have the Fast Forward logo on it, and the readable text looked like it said Fast Forward. Did anyone else notice this?
If this is actually the Fast Forward info, that the teams got either at the Hotel Lajadira or the Trampolino Olimpico, why didn't Team ATC go for the FF before doing the Detour?

Excellent job, Cali! Your recaps are great.

BTW, I don't know if it's the same where you live, but in Illinois if you ask a telemarketer to take you off their calling list, they have to do so. Might make your tv watching a little more enjoyable if these people stop calling all the freakin time!

Teams get the FF at the beginning of the leg. Where they use it is up to them.
