Best weekly prize ever! I'm going shopping for new stuff to bring with me. Thanks, Pikachu.

Yeah, my strong start helped me stay in contention a while longer after David and Connor left the race, but I knew that the camels were coasting on no fuel there. It was good to be in the lead for a little while at least!

Dixie Drifters navigated their paddlewheel into first place! The Drifters are up on the roof, enjoying their spot on top of the leaderboard.

Also having a stellar week, Buckeye Brawlers moved up to second place.

Team Maybs slipped from first place to third. The only two couples they have left (Anthony & Bates and Beth & Mona) were the last teams to arrive at the pit stop and Beth & Mona narrowly avoided elimination. They need to hope that both their teams escape from the bottom next week or their downward fall on the leaderboard will continue.

Mischief Managed is in fourth place this week and poised to make a big move. As one of only two pool teams to still have four couples in the race, they’re making good points each week and could crack the top three very soon. Keep an eye on the Firebolt—with only 15 points between them and the next highest team, and only 30 points between them and the top-ranked team, they could take a portkey straight to #1!

Better Luck This Time fell one space to fifth place.

Phil’s Eyebrow also came down a notch, moving from fifth place to sixth.

Slap Shot Express went from sixth place to seventh.

Sundays with Phil and Team Phileas Fogg both lost a little ground and tumbled to eighth place. Sundays with Phil had been in seventh place last week and Team Phileas Fogg had been in sixth.

Rock’m Sock’m is the other pool team that has four couples left in the race. They went from eighth place to ninth place this week but they’re on the verge of overtaking several teams in front of them. Next week could see them move up into the top five, especially if their team captains, Beth & Mona, get out of last place and finish strong in the next episode.

Philbrow dropped from seventh place to tenth.

Betting on Japan and Kaninhop Champs continued their downward spiral, slipping from ninth place to eleventh.

The rest of the teams south of the leaderboard stayed in the same order and probably will until the end because of the distance in points between them.

Crazy Cats is in twelfth place, Revenge of the Amazing Bellies is in thirteenth place, 7 NonBlondes and John is in fourteenth, The Alabama Skinners are in fifteenth, Supreme Mediocrity is in sixteenth, and The Commanders of Awesome are in seventeenth place.

Mischief Managed and Rock’m Sock’m got the highest weekly score! They each win a new car and all they have to do to claim it is basejump off a 37 story building.

Oooo, I love cheese! I just went to the grocery store after work today and got Feta and Roquefort cheese. I got the feta cheese to make spinach tarts and the Roquefort just because I haven't had it in a long time and wanted to indulge myself.

    Everything's better with cheese!!!

Everything is indeed better with cheese! Many of the dishes I cook have cheese in some form as an ingredient. I love feta in a green salad with raisins and sunflower seeds or almonds.

On another subject, I'd love to pick up my new car, but if I have to jump off a 37-story building, I think I'll walk, or swim, or canoe.

5 points off of the highest score of the week and I dropped a place?

Oh, you don't skip places in case of tie so I was ordinal 9th (tie) to ordinal 8th (tie). Gotcha.

If I was stranded on a desert island (rather be stranded on a dessert island) I could live on spinach and feta tarts.
