I love the memory challenge at the end also. But I'm thinking that they wanted to throw in a physical challenge that also tested mental abilities (with the Mandalay Bay challenge), and then have a challenge that tested the teams' patience in a high-stress time (with the counting challenge). Not bad, I say. I really liked Vegas as end city.

Brian/Ericka... I was still rooting for them, but I grew really frustrated when she couldn't cool down at the LOVE challenge. Brian is a saint. I would have lost it if I was him. In the end though, their miscounting was probably what lost it for them.

I'm there with ya! TAR13, TAR14, TAR15--each of the most recent seasons has had the dominant team win out in the end. It's getting boring! I will admit that I did root for Nick/Starr, but that was mostly because their sister went to my school. I will mention though that I was really liking Ken/Tina a lot, especially towards the end, and I kind of wanted them to win more than Nick/Starr. And I also liked Tammy/Victor, but they were at least a little bit interesting. And truthfully, I ended up rooting for them at the end after Kisha/Jen were eliminated (because of their bathroom break! ugh, I cannot get over that).

But Meghan/Cheyne? They were boring (aside from maybe one or two moments), and their win was very predictable. All credit to them for being strong powerhorses and getting all those first places, but I still thought they were the typical young, strong, pretty, boring couple. The editors did a good job trying to make the finale tense, but in the end, I think the majority of us knew that it would turn out this way.

TAR winners are usually never that great anyway. Look at its history.

I was incredibly happy that Meghan and Cheyne won. While they didn't add a lot of drama, they certainly deserved the win. I would rather see a team win who actually has run a great race than see someone win who has provided TOO much drama, and has shown a somewhat ugly underbelly. Yes, it's a race and I am usually the first to say "it's a race" when teams pull things that might seem a bit out of line in order to get ahead, however, there seemed to be a real ugliness within the brothers gameplay, and Erika just was way overly dramatic and over the edge in any situation that didn't go her way. Brian showed great patience with her most of the time, otherwise I think it would have been even uglier with her.

I'll miss this show on Sunday nights. When does the next season begin?

Still, she's in a really difficult position, i.e. in the middle of her husband and family. Plus, she had to courage to go forward with a marriage that she new would be hard. I actually give her TONS of credit. I like her alot.

Now, having said all that, whenever her husband tries to hug her, she kind of pulls away. Can't tell if it's frustration from the game or if she may not be as "in love" as she thinks.

They are just 2 good people trying to make a go of life. I don't think Erika was as bitchy as she's been made out to be on these boards.

    I really agree with this.

Also--when she did that horrifying road block of walking down that tall building--well she went skyhigh in my estimation.

She did THAT without any whining at all.

    IMO the lady has b*lls.

And I personally think their marriage will make it for the reason I stated at the beginning of the season--they may spit and spat with each other but they do realize the are doing that--and they talk it out and apologize to each other.

IMO that takes a lot of maturity. I think they'll do just fine.

Also--I cannot say how I would have reacted in Erika's position during that challenge last night. I found just watching it very frustrating!

I was happy that Meghan and Cheyne came in first even after their big flub with going to the wrong casino. They weren't my favorite team overall (that was the Globetrotters) but they certainly were the strongest. The brothers bothered me a lot along the way. I didn't like how they played the game and their bickering really seemed to hurt them. I think it cost them the win which I'm okay with. Erika impressed me with on the building but lost me again with the next challenge. I can understand the stress but it wasn't a pretty sight. All in all I did enjoy the season but it is getting old for me. I may have to take a break soon.

I wish she had run the race with another female, because I think she and someone competent could have been the first female team to win. She was the stronger of her pair.

Because her whining (and accompanying husband squashing) isn't about fear, it's about a lack of grace in the face of adversity.

She didn't whine in the building thing, because nothing went wrong. If it had? She'd have been right there with the bad behavior. Sure it took courage. No denying she's capable of that, and she almost won me over for that. But later, when things didn't go her way? She fell apart. Because "failure" is her Kryptonite, not "fear".

Pair Meghan up with Margie from last season and they'd dominate!!!!

To be honest, I think they skipped the memory challenge because of Sam and Dan. Those guys were a little lacking in the brains department. Monaco, Jackie-O, Wayne Newton - they seemed to be a little out of it. The memory challenge might have taken them completely out of the race, and I'm sure TPTB didn't want that.

As far as Ericka is concerned, I wish people would give her more of a break. Her behavior was terrible at times, yes. So was everyone's, including Meghan and Cheyne, at least once. She just lost it more often. Some people have a lot of trouble dealing with that kind of stress. It's not an admirable thing, and it's something she should work on, but it doesn't make her a terrible person overall. And she does seem to get over it fairly quickly and recognize that she was over the top, and she and Brian are able to go on from there. Someone like Ericka needs a Brian, who can stay calm in the face of her craziness. My husband is like that. I actually think they are a nice couple and wish them well.

Monte Carlo is Monaco, Venetian Hotel, Venetian is an Italian name. Couldn't believe they didn't know that.
