I see that Survivor is nominated for six. (Or I guess more accurately...five also, but twice in one category).
Sorry. Couldn't resist. I don't mean to dis TAR. I think it's five nominations is great. Actually I love the show and it is one of my fave's, but so is Survivor and I don't see it getting the same trumpet playing regarding this.

I wasn't impressed with the last two seasons of TAR, but an Emmy's an Emmy, even for a bad season, and the Emmy helped save it before. So I'd rather see it win especially since it's interest has gone down over the last two seasons (probably thanks in part to the FE). But if TAR can't win, I hope Survivor does. I'm very happy that The Apprentice isn't nominated for best reality competition program. I'm sure the Donald's having a fit with that one

I notice the episode they put up for nomination is the one where BJ crawls around in the sand and Eric and Jeremy get lost and they have to ford water to get to the harborside village. Probably the eipsode with the most dramatic interest this past season.

TAR was nominated in all the categories it submitted itself for except for Music Composition (Dramatic Underscore)
