OMG, Liz and Marie finally got it right, but barely before the grandparents got there.

Makes me wonder how far behind the grandparents are from the other teams. Might be creative editing to make it look like they have a chance. I didn't even realize they finally found the clue telling them where to go.

Gotta give it up for the grandparents--she got that message right on the first go round. Did anyone else?

If Liz and Marie don't row any better than they memorize, they may still have a shot.

Awesome, grandma nailed it on the first try. I'd like them to stick around a little longer, but...doesn't look like they'll make it unless Team Dingbat blows it.

Woo hoo, it's a NEL already! Phil says two teams will be eliminated next leg, though.

Team Dingbat? I think that might be slightly insulting to Edith Bunker.

Wow. Have they ever had a NEL on a first leg? Okay, they're doing a double elimination leg next time to make up for it.

I like the grandparents but eh on them being saved. I don't think they're going to last longer unless they pay attention and hustle. But I give them credit.

Pretty good leg for the first round.

ETA: No, they've never done a NEL the first leg, though I think it's long overdue. I wonder how the double elimination will work-elimination both the last two teams at the mat, or do an elimination mid-leg like they did season 10.

Liked the first episode! Already got some of my likes and dislikes.

It would have sucked to see Bill and Cathi leave so early but they get another chance so yay!

I wonder how the next leg's gonna work. Last two to reach the end-of-the-leg pit stop or some copy of the double elimination episodes in previous seasons?
