Yep. That is how I feel about them too.

It is anticlimatic and must be hard for the other racers having just played frantically to avoid last place. It is just a way to extend the season another week.

Stay. I like the extra bit of anticipation wondering whether the team I love/hate will be leaving or not. Because I enjoy the anticipation, I do wish they'd mix up the NEL scheduling a bit more, though.
All I wanted was a 45, a stinking 45 - the record or the gun. I'd even settle for the damn malt liquor. - Al Bundy.

Totally. They always seem to be near the end of the race. I'd like them to switch things around more, keep teams on their toes a bit. I'd like them to have one on the first leg one year.

I kind of like the NELs but agree they need to be spread out more. Does anyone remember what season it was when the racers got to what they thought was the pitstop and instead were told continue racing? I thought that was a good idea that kept the teams guessing what was going to happen.

That was season 7 with Rob and Amber, etc. Coincidentally, they were also in India when that happened!

LOL all I remembered was it was Rob & Amber's season too!

I'm just glad that they don't make them beg for money anymore.

I don't like them at all.... I find them boring. Plus they're too predictable now - I feel like by this leg, Ken & Tina knew it was probably NEL since they hadn't had one yet.

I don't mind them, even though it usually seems to save a team I don't like! I do agree that they should be more spread out, though. If the first, second or third leg turned out to be a non elimination, the players (and the audience as well) would never be able to tell when one might be coming.
I have found the Truth and it doesn't make sense.
