I like the theory, but at this point, it's pretty much dumb luck as to who gets on the standby seats and who doesn't.

Since the pit stops are normally 12 hours, I wonder how the race plans for this... do they extend the stop, or honor the gap and make the new people wait through another day, plus 12 hours?

Hmm. Non-Political Correct Joke Time: Little People Hurling is not an event in the Special Olympics--its Charla on board that boat!

Oswald helping Charla while she throws up. Mirna just lays out laughing at her. Yeah, she's a wonderful partner.

If they have any idea how far behind everyone else is, they'll go for the puzzle.

Probably a complete unbalanced detour, but we'll never know since the boats are so damn spread out.

Finally the last two teams have gotten a flight.

Detour: Solve it or Schlep it?

I choose solve it, puzzles are fun.

Unless the teams suddenly grow wings, there's no easy way to get from one country to another. Bunching is sometimes a good thing.

    Puzzle looks fairly simple.

Kikungwi, for the next clue. Not that I've ever heard of it.
