a compass?? The twins' heads would definitely explode...
ugh. I don't get time to watch TV anymore, much less hang out at the FORT.

But don't you worry, I'll be back in full force on or about November 3rd.

The actual tasks didn't require much brain power last night, digging in mud or riding the sledge, and riding in the hamsterball, but they had to really work in the transportation department.

The flights weren't real cut and dried and the teams had to work their options. The moms were behind but made up for it when they had to drive themselves. Whether it was luck or good navigation, moving from 5th and last to second based on driving was great. I alway enjoy the "drive yourself" legs.

The drive yourself shows are always cool, but they now only seem do it in "safe" countries (NZ, Europe, US) these days. It would have been so cool to see them try to find a village while driving in India or Egypt.

They were doing it before in the early TARs, but then suddenly stopped and it became taxi races.

Last night's episode, from New Zealand to Manilla, was anything but dumb. Driving themselves to the marina, putting the decorations on the Jeepster, figuring out when to ditch the bus and get a taxi. It was great.

Wouldn't you? I mean it's a foreign country you really don't know anybody. Besides "what happens in Manila, stays in Manila".
