I'm kinda disappointed that the cameras didn't at least show a snipet of
Reichen and Chip at that time since they are there.

This is the best game show I've watched in my entire life and
I'm not kidding!!! I love American Idol and Survivor but
the 2 doesn't even come close!!! I can't wait for the
5th Installment TAR 5! I hope they win again next year
as this year's Emmy was based on TAR 3.

Kudos also goes to Phil, Reichen and Chip who looked
    AMAZING tonight!!!

    Everybody JUMP for JOY!!!

DITTO, DITTO, DITTO!! I'm still teary eyed and filled with ecstasy. I'm soo glad they won the Emmy that they so much deserve. TAR is 100% the best reality show I've watched in my entire life.
This year's was based on TAR 3?? Excellent, cause now I'm sure they can win again next year, as TAR 4 was equally and even better!
Argh!! I didn't see Reichen & Chip? Did you see them on a pre-show?? I missed them.

Yes, Art, they were on the pre-show w/ Phil. They said that Cortina
was the hardest part of the race (running throught the snow).
They also mentioned that India was like an eye-opener...
They were both wearing a black tuxedo with Reichen wearing a
vest and a tie. They looked so cool in shades. Details
can be found at the AARC site.

I hope you had submitted your application to TAR 5 Art!
    Deadline is Oct. 8!!!

Congratulations to the Amazing Race, yeah! I was so sure the American Idol would have won although this concept of idolizing someone just doesn't click on me whatsoever.

They just need to get more sponsors for the show and I have ideas.

At least the emmy announcement got made here, i was watching and was gonna post over at AARC, but they made a snipe about not posting until after midnight.
Hardly anything to be so worried about spoiling. Guess I'm not into award shows like some others.

    Question for anyone.
Is there an email address to write to TAR production/World Race Co.?
I found the physical/snail mail address.

At least we can say TAR5 will be produced and shown now with the Emmy. As to not posting before midnight, it doesn't make any sense. PST people are not going to get to see the results before 10PM PST or 1AM EST. In other words, if EST people start posting after midnight of their time, the PST and even MST people would be spoiled. I agree, nothing to worry about spoiling here, at least Fort is logical. You can follow a few threads posting on the net about the Save TAR campaign which you can find the contact info for TAR production and Co.

I'm so thrilled at this--finally, The Amazing Race gets the respect and recognition it deserves from the television industry, who cast the votes. Congratulations to everyone!

Thanks for the info. I'm so upset I missed them. Hopefully pics will be on the AARC site or something. And thanks to RCsMum for the great details about her boys!
I'm one year shy of the age requirement Did you submit an app?

Yep!! During TAR 4 it was always "Don't miss the Emmy nominated Amazing Race", but now it'll be "Don't miss the Emmy WINNING Amazing Race" hehehe. Go TAR!!

Would have appreciated a *SPOILER* in the title of this thread for those who haven't seen the show yet.

    R&C called from backstage

They were present when Phil was presented with his Emmy!

They said That Phil was deliriously happy!!

Bert and Elise let them hold their Emmy!

Reichen said everyone was crying and hugging and going crazy.

He said many pictures were being taken and they , all of them were being interviewed by everyone--Oprah, CNN, all networks etc.
I'll bet Moonvres is glad he renewe TAR for another season!!!!!!!!!!!!!
