Just for being in the Amazing Race, they should pay attention to the costumes and sayings of the greeters. Just saying. lol

I remember when the coal mining couple was on (Mary and...I forget her husband's name), and Mary was always finding out how to say "thank you" in whatever country they were in. I thought that was very nice of her to want to know how to thank the locals who helped them.

LOL! I was thinking the same thing - I know restaurant French which does not explain why I know 'chein'. However the only Chinese word I can say is 'Dog Meat'. I do *not* eat dog.

I helped a little old lady in a chocolate shop in Quebec find what she was looking for, and she told me she was so glad I knew French. I told her I didn't know French, but I was fluent in cookbook, which made the clerk at the counter laugh. But seriously, that's how I knew what I (and she) was looking for--I knew the words for things like dark and milk chocolate, nuts, strawberries etc. because I have a French cookbook that's specifically about chocolate.

Didn't they make a thing of showing how the Chippies learned hello and goodbye in all the countries they visited?

Lexy's frustrated because she can't control this? Well, good heavens, how many tasks can they control, really? Honestly, what can they control at all on the race? There are always things like cabs, missed flights etc. getting in the way that no one can control.

And Josh finishes first! The Beekman boys are good at anything involving logic.

They're going to Gotham Hall? Think Phil will be dressed as Batman?

Honestly, if the Beekmans get screwed by a cab driver, I'm going to be upset--even though I'd be okay with the Chippies winning. It's just that they've had such crappy luck with cabs that they deserve a break. If they get outrun by the Chippies, fine. But don't let them get beat by a cab driver.

OMG! The Beekman boys pulled it off? And the Twinnies are pretending to be happy for them. Right. I believe that. I'd like to see a shot of A/R, though, because I bet they'd be genuinely happy.

I agree about the small town. (NYC doesn't need that much PR) however this challenge is difficult even when you have lived in NYC all of your life. Finding streets and addresses in that part of town is hard.

I would like to see AR finale in a small town or a small state ( I nominate New Hampshire as the state ) so that viewers could learn small does not mean boring and uneventful. Im sick of New York City. No offense, but Im tired of New York, California and Texas.
