Amazing Race 22 Spec and *SPOILERS* thread

The filming for TAR 22 has started, and there are already many team rumors.

So for those interested, here's what I found for the teams so far (from RFF):

Blonde F/F team

Chuck & Wynona McCall - Married from Alabama
Jamal & Idries Abdur-Rahman - Twin Brothers / Doctors
Jonathan "Bates" and Anthony Battaglia - Hockey Players (and brothers, I guess, since the last name appears to be the same)
Winnie & Cam - F/F team
M/M team that appear to be father and son

Thanks for that, Johnny K. I love me some hockey players, so hope the brothers are fun. I looked up the YouTube celebs and I am confused. Do they know each other or have some kind of personal relationship, or are they thrown together because of what they do?? Strange.

So excited they are filming already. I remember years ago when they were on the verge of cancelling this show. I am so glad they didn't!!

Some of the other teams have now been named. There are also two teams that were not spotted after the second leg (while apparently the other nine were), so it looks like they might have been the first two eliminated.

One of the F/F teams have been ID'd as Beth Bandimere & Mona Hinman-Egender - Roller Derby Girls omg if this is true <33333

The father/son are Connor & Dave O'Leary

Hockey Players are brothers.

Was reading elsewhere and ran across this tidbit of trivia regarding Bates and Anthony.....

Battaglia is the grandson of former Chicago mob member Sam Battaglia. I just found it interesting that this was on a page about Bate's hockey career.

RFF ID'd some new teams.

The blonde F/F team are now Jennifer Wayne and Caroline Cutbirth - Country Singers. I looked them up and they're from a band called "Stealing Angels".

One of the M/F teams are Max & Katherine Bichler - Newlyweds

The other M/F team are John Erck & Jessica Hoel - Dating

The cast reveal should be soon. Apparently next week! A whole weekend with no TAR info? Blah :(

There's a new twist this season.

The winner of the first leg will win two Express Passes. One for themselves, and the other will be given to the team of their choice, at any point during the first four legs. I like this twist a lot better than the Double Your Money last season.
