Those Russian lady soldiers were all smily around the Chippies. Poor guy...I would have done the other challenge.

Detour: Russian Dancing, or identify famous Russian historical leaders at a costume party. Both Texas and Chippies doing the dancing. One of the Chips, tho, sprained his ankle on a previous leg and is now having difficulty.

I know that under normal circumstances, the dance detour would be an obvious choice for the Chippies, but since they knew one of them had an ankle injury, why in the world would they choose traditional Russian dancing? Geez, haven't they ever seen traditional Russian dancing--even just a little bit of it in something like The Nutcracker? It would have to kill your ankles and knees.

I really think the other detour would be easier, unless you have no sense of history at all. You ought to be able to figure out who's who just by the era (the way they're dressed etc.).

I don't know why James & Jaymes did the dancing detour with that ankle. That looks awful.

I would have definitely done the other ones myself, although the dancing sure is fun to watch. But I think I could have gotten some of those leaders just on sight.

I just hope that doesn't cost them the race in the end. If they have to run for it they will probably lose. I thought I heard them call for a medic to look at his leg?
