Hmmm I have a feeling if it wasn't the twins it would not be seen as stealing. It would be looked at with clear eyes.

If my favorite team (currently tied between the Chips and the Heavy Metal guys) had done it, I would feel the same way. And they would no longer be my favorite team.

Not true for me (& several others here have said the same). I defended them earlier in the season. I found them entertaining. But now I just feel disgusted when I look at them & Team Texas.

It also wouldn't have mattered which team's money they kept.
Change any of the variables & I still feel the same.

I wonder why the one wears a cross. What other religion would wear one?

Also, I don't mean to imply that anyone who isn't a Christian is dishonest, just want to be clear on that! As we can see, religious affiliation has nothing to do with honesty, clearly.

I'm an atheist but I used to occasionally wear crosses because I am an enthusiast of religious art and architure. Love churches, temples and mosques, icons, reliquaries, mezzuzahs, crosses, grails, altars, paintings - all of it.

I don't think I could have kept the money or, in the case of the Texans, knowingly participated and received a cut of the money, especially considering the cameras caught it all and you KNOW it's going to be broadcast. Number one, I don't deal well with guilt and number two, my family wouldn't be pleased with me and, as I work in an elementary school, how would I explain myself to the students? We always teach them to do what is right, and yet I wouldn't have done so myself. I get the idea of being in a 'game' and I know in Survivor you lie because you have to to advance yourself. But keeping that money did NOT advance the twins further. Team metal checked in BEFORE them, so it did no go to them that we could see. And I don't think it has a place in TAR. I've seen enough karma come back and bite teams in the butt before, so I wouldn't risk it personally.

Well for me its sort of tainted them. I am not overly disgusted, I know I wouldn't have taken it. But I hope they keep racing for awhile( and team Texas) because the others other than chip and dale are a bit stale for me. However, I do believe in Karma, and I dont seem the twins winning.

Simply put. Amazing Race had no issues with it so its not an issue with me either way. Much ado about nothing IMO. Someone dropped money and someone else picked it up. Teachers the dropper to be more careful.
