I'm not a religious individual, but this excerpt from the Bible lingers about as I sift through this thread...
"What shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"
Interesting how a simple phrase can sum up my thoughts on this topic.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.
Trey's behaviour just affirmed my assessment of him last week - vanilla-type prince charming character, full of principles but without much of a backbone, something like Prince James from OUAT.
At this point, I'll be happy with whichever team wins as long as it's not Twinnies/Trexi. Apt that these two bonded right from the beginning.
Maggie: "While she takes care of the men with the guns, why don't you sit down and I'll make you a nice, hot cup of tea?"
Pan Am stewardesses: prepared for anything!
Oh, no question, Babbred! If the Rockers left their chocolate unattended, I would snatch it and have no qualms about wolfing it down! In fact, if they were holding the chocolate in their hand and turned away for a second, I might try to snitch a bite. Depending on how badly I was needing chocolate that day.![]()
While I appreciate the lighter side of chocolate, if everyone has had their say in this thread, you can go to the POLL posted at the top of the forum and say it one more time. Poor ole' horse.

Best part of the show was the interview with Faux Hawk Man (Team Monster Truck). I did like how he explained how he used used his size and attitude as a weapon (I am paraphrasing a bit) but that his relationship with his wife was the most important thing in his life. It made me change my opinion of him a bit. While I liked that he wanted to go his own way and not follow the crowd I also thought he as arrogant and thought he knew better or was better than the other teams. At least some of the other teams asked the locals if the taxi or metro was faster. I do like however that Faux Hawk Man never yelled or belittled his wife/partner regardless of what happened unlike some other teams.
As far as the Twins saying the prefer Texas to come in first place. So what, that is their preference. Ryan was the one who reacted immaturely about it.
"When life gives you lemons, squirt lemon juice in your enemy's eyes."
Ah, for just one time I would take the Northwest Passage.
Yeah, I liked Ron for the first time at the mat too. If nothing else, at least he loves his wife. And I did rather like Kelly. She seemed like an unassuming but tough woman.
