2/19 TAR 20: Premiere Episode **SPOILERS**

Okay, one team is labeled "Married Clowns". This is cracking me up And the wife clown is crying. A pessimistic clown? Hah.

I'm not a big fan of Rachel but I have to give her props for being observant. She probably does well on challenges because she does pay attention to little details.

I know I could never be on The Amazing Race. I'm too afraid of heights. All it would take is one challenge where we had to go on a really tall building, parachute, or ride on a zip line and I would have to quit. I wouldn't even attempt it.

I think it would depend on what was in the bags. You cannot be checked in without your travel documents. If they were stupid and left them in the car, that may have been why they went back. I'm thinking those girls felt really stupid when they saw the editing and how close they really were.

They had the passports and travel documents. Phil would've told them to go back too if they didn't have those. The clothing and such are superficial for the most part.

They wanted to be sure to have all their clothing because they include cold weather stuff in there too, and rather than risk freezing in their skivvies essentially, they took the chance. It did however cost them, as did getting stuck in the sand. Had they done that with no problems, we'd seen the 10th place team eliminated. The girls probably would've had enough time.

Hate the guidos. I wanted them to lose so badly. I couldn't believe the girls missed Phil, and the look on his face...never seen that before! What were they thinking? I even thought I saw one look in his direction, but then they turned and ran out... Sad way to go, but they screwed up a few times that episode, so their demise was coming.

I kind of laughed at the older country boys. The clown lady who was crying...sheesh. I think maybe just a let down of built up emotions?

I can't call this new team Guidos - Team Guido (though yes, named after their dog) from Season 1 and the first all-stars have more class in their first season (and I thought them abysmal), and definitely redeemed themselves in the All-Stars season (I ended up rooting for them).

How about pastaheads? They sure seemed to have them to have the golf girls nearly beat them.

Or, how about Meatheads? They seem kind of dull witted, but maybe they will surprise us. I found it interesting that the BP team got so frustrated so fast on the empenada challenge. We may see more of that from them. The edit showed the golfers having a rough time from the beginning, being last with the balloon challenge, then on the second plane, then switching up the challenge in the hanger, then getting stuck in the sand, then leaving their bags in the car, then going into panic mode where you can't see two feet in front of your face. For a moment, I thought Phil was going to call out to them when he could see them across the grassy field. He had such a look of disbelief on his face.

I really thought the KY boys would go out first, but. thanks to the golfers, they landed next to last - good on them. Rachel is a fighter and Brendon has now shown his bigoted side. Who will keep who in check as the race progresses? The first leg stressed out everyone. None of them sailed through; so it will be interesting to see how they cope with the remaining legs. Good Start!

All in all I thought it was a good start to the AR. I am one of those that already don't like Rachel and Brendon from BB. When I heard Rachel say congratulations to the first place team I could not help but think I am so glad they don't show them once they go where ever they go after they check in. I am sure Rachel burst into tears because they didn't get that Express Pass and cried to Brendon most of the night. She is very competitive, but is not a good looser unless she has changed from BB. I also could not stand Brendon's rude remarks, but that's Brendon. Just like when he said they won BB and she quickly corrected him that she won. Him wearing the UCLA medicine shirt. He is suppose to be curing cancer, but he has time to go on this race. I knew she was going to wear sparkles, because that's her trademark and the only thing that helped was they did not show that much of them. I like the other Rachel and Dave, but it always takes me awhile to figure out who I am actually rooting for. All in all it didn't turn out as bad as I thought it could with my least favorite couple being there. Luckily, because sports of one kind or another always delays the race I automatically check to see what's on and saw that it was going to start late. Next week should be interesting after seeing the previews. Arielflies I think Meathead sounds perfect!

I am always amazed that they dont learn to drive with a stick shift, have they never seen the show before??
