And I spoke just minutes too soon....now the Snowboarders are getting cranky about the Buddhist altar task and talking about one true God. C'mon, can't they find anybody who was raised Christian who's still tolerant of other religions to be on these shows. I know perfectly well such people exist.

At least they weren't snotty right to the faces of the Buddhists and confined their remarks to the interview portions of the show, but still.....

I was really liking these guys... until tonight. "I mean, there's only one true God. Read your Bible." Seriously??? You mean the same Bible that says it's okay to own slaves and not okay to eat shellfish? C'mon. Talk about arrogant and narrow-minded. They used to be a couple of good natured snowboarder hippee types... now they're suddenly preaching God and spewing scripture. Thanks, I paid at the office... time for them to go home.

Amani, on the other hand, pointed out, while putting together the altar, that while it wasn't the same religion as hers, it deserved the same respect, because she wouldn't want anyone coming into her church and disrespecting the crosses there.

That was actually Jennifer the annoying sister (Amani is the NFL wife). I only know this because I liked her comment and made a point of remembering her name. I can only remember, like, four of their names otherwise. It definitely made me like her more whereas the snowboarders' comments made me like them less.
I looked it up and 4500 bhat is equal to 145 dollars so the engaged couple (Cindy? I can't remember their names) were ripping off their cabbie when they tried to give him 100 bucks. Too bad she wasn't blonde or he might have driven them for free.
The father needs to listen to his son more. Except then he does and they get off the bus and lose major time so...

100.00 US is only about 3,096 baht so they were shorting the driver.

150.00 US is about 4,644 baht so they basically gave him the correct fee. There was no need to yell at the driver he was just trying to get the correct fee for the drive and the lady was making sure he was not ripped off by American tourists.
