Bill and Cathi, two teachers, look to educate the competition as their race around the world in search of the one million dollar prize during The Amazing Race.

I almost always like the older couple, so good luck to them.

I find her annoying.

Hate to say it but I do as well. I wish she would learn to stop talking to grown people as if they were a toddler. I get the language barrier, but her manner of speaking comes across as so condescending. I'm sure it's unintentional but it's really annoying. I did admire his strength and 'get it done' attitude with the tobacco bales though. He seemed to be having fun.

As a teacher, she probably learned to speak slowly and clearly to communicate. I don't think I've ever had a male teacher do that, but have known many female teachers who do. I don't get a "condescending" intent from her, but I hear where others are coming from that it sounds that way.

She was also a High School Principal. Enunciation was probably key in her job. :teeth

Luving this couple, really seem to enjoy the race and each other and they know how to race bunnies.

I really admire the way that they interact and relate to one another on the race. They are a great role model of how long time married couples can respectfully support each other, using humor along the way.

I like them but also find Cathi annoying in how she speaks. It does seem to come from a lifetime of working with kids and possibly difficult parents.

Meanwhile, she's got a rockin' bod for her age. I was very impressed (and envious).

Bill and Cathi are shown in previews for episode 10, though later in the week. We sure had fun wondering if they had been eliminated even with a continuation leg in the mix. :teeth
