Oh man. How in the world did they miss that flight? Does that mean that they're automatically disqualified, since it was a required flight? I'd think not, if they're bothering to let them get on another flight.
I bet production was not happy about that, since they had deliberately put everyone on the same flight.
I noticed the caption said the other flight (the one K & V missed) was the required flight. Will they be penalized for taking another one?

Having seen those tiny sleeping berths, I wonder what Big Easy and Flight Time did? I bet watching them try to fold themselves up into those bunks would have been pretty funny. Too bad they didn't show it.

That elevation/altitude is definitely a challenge, but I love the roadblock!
Some people say this as more of a joke, but TAR's known for visiting destinations that not long after have experienced horrible disasters (NYC and the 9/11 terror attacks, Sri Lanka and the tsunami, New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina, and now Japan) I'm sure it is heartbreaking for everyone involved; Phil said once Japan was one of his favorite destinations to visit.
