I thought he said that because he thought the older folks would be less likely to understand English...I think he thought some of the younger people would be more inclined to speak English because they are part of the Internet generation.

That may have been his intent, but it sounded very snotty. I felt offended.

How far back exactly were Nick and Vicki? They didn't show the time they left the last destination (at least that I saw - I remember thinking it was weird). At the airport they made it look like they were just too late for the 12:25 flight but if you look at the airport during the time the other teams were leaving (it was still bustling) and when Nick and Vicki arrived (it was totally empty) I think that was the producers just playing tricks and they were nowhere near making the earlier flight. How many of the tasks do we think that Nick and Vicki had to do? I was joking with my coviewer that the army was all "This tank (at the speedbump) is dirty and they'll be cleaning it regardless." We didn't see them perform any other task (not even the white water rafting - they seemed to be on a flatbed truck rather than a tank to get to the army headquarters as well).

I so want Nat and Kat to win. I would be okay (I guess) with Brooke and Claire winning (though, as with others, Brooke gets on my nerves. I do think she is coming from a good place, but she needs to switch to decaf or something).

I wouldn't mind either F/F team winning. I loved it, too, when Brooke tried to chop that board. It reminded me of something I would do.

I also wondered about the taw kwon do thing. Army troops turned ninjas? Hey, stranger things have happened. Somebody probably nailed it, though, when they said it was probably for fitness reasons.

Poor Vicki, they're about 9 hours behind.

I totally didn't understand the reference to Kelly Clarkson during the whitewater rafting.

It was a 40 Year Old Virgin reference. When the main character in that movie got a chest wax so he could get busy every time they pulled a strip he yelled Kelly Clarkson instead of a swear word.

In this case, the Kelly Clarkson was in response to the rough waters and bumpy ride. Smart on their part since you can't use those kinds of swear words on tv.

Taekwondo is a defensive martial arts. It can be very high cardio, depending on how it's practiced and what drills are being employed, and also is a good tool for improving reflexes.

I really don't find Brooke annoying on TV, but I really can't imagine having to run the race with her. She is just so high energy and "out there", that I bet it is exhausting.

Sorry to see Vicki go but am happy with the final 3 teams. Or maybe I should clarify that if Thomas could keep his mouth closed, I'd be happy. While I don't care for him, he & Jill have been doing well and deserve to be there. But I'm really pulling for a Nat/Kat or Brooke/Claire win.

I couldn't help but yell at the TV when Brooke & Claire hopped in the cab. I mean, if you'd been thisclose to getting a penalty on a previous leg, wouldn't you read the clues more closely after that?? Hopefully, they won't do something stupid like that during the finale.

I'm surprised we didn't see more of Nat & Kat doing their skating laps. Could they be setting up a Brooke/Claire and Jill/Thomas final 2 showdown? Or was it just because it wasn't important?

I just watched the last Elimination Station and the crew moved from Mexico to LA, not SF. It looks as though the final leg will be in LA - or else production is conducting a ruse to make us think so.

I doubt it's a ruse. I just guessed Oakland and San Francisco because there are a ton of those shipping cranes they were jumping from in Oakland. Although I thought they showed a cab driving over (what looked like the Bay bridge to me) a bridge.

I am pulling for a Nat/Kat win too!!! Love me some Nat!! Yeah I was rolling on their skating of what little we saw of it. I wouldn't mind a Brooke/Claire win but I am more of a Nat fan...

I'm pretty happy with the final three teams. Yes, Thomas can be an idiot sometimes, but they have been racing hard and well, so they deserve the win if they make it. I'd love to see Brooke and Claire win. Brooke doesn't bother me much, in fact I respect her boundless energy and high spiritedness, but I suspect if I were to race with her I'd probably be more like Claire. They seem to mesh well, and even when they argue it's not mean spirited. I'd be really pleased if one of the all girl teams finished first. Go girls!!

On the flip side, every time that idiot Nick started saying something about how "we" need to fix things in our relationship, or "we" figured out where the flaws are in the relationship I wanted to jump into the tv and punch him in the face. Not "WE" you low-life "YOU" - when Vicki said she made it through the race without killing him, did anyone see the look on his face? He didn't appreciate that comment one bit, and I bet she heard about it afterwards. He's a grade-A jerk, and I hope to heck she wises up and dumps the chump. C'mon Vicki, you can do waaay better than him!!

Oh, and another little Nick gem...when the Korean guy gave her some food and said she was beautiful, he said "he wants you...well, at least you're good for something" - SERIOUSLY??? Vicki, honey, it won't get better. Ever. This guy has reached my "most hated" status on TAR. Not good.
