Team Glee are Connor & Jonathan. One of the ladies from another team gave them that nickname in the first episode. Kevin & Michael are Team Jumba, Nat & Kat I call The Lady Docs, Brook & Claire I call Team ShopShop. Part of the fun in TAR, at least for me, is coming up with nicknames for the teams.

True story:

Hubby and I were checking out options at a nearby veterans cemetery. When asking about the regulations regarding containers for cremated remains, the person we were talking to said there were only two rules: (1) the container has to fit in the plot; (2) it had to be something that could be sealed shut.

He told us of one man who bought a cookie jar at Big Lots for his wife's cremains. He said she'd spent so much time there while she was living that she would love being buried in a container from there.

Ever since, we've been keeping our eyes open for something that strikes our fancy!

I know! The race doesn't seem like the best place to get to know someone. But they were acting like they'd never get to see each other again after the race was over. I didn't get that. Even if they don't live near each other, there's still email, phone, etc.

And why are Kevin & Michael Team Jumba?
