My MIL has diabetes. Whenever we go to visit her, we always have to be careful to plan what we do with her, so that she can have her regular meal times. She also has to be very careful with her diet. Wow. I can't imagine doing something as challenging as this race with diabetes. I wish this pair well.

As for forced smile, that may not be necessarily bad. She may simply be shy and not like having to pose for photos.

They are both physicians. I imagine they are equipped to handle any medical difficulties that come up, and they will certainly know if it becomes dangerous.

Brains and beauty x 2 (with athletic ability). These two will be tough to beat, and are my favorites so far.

So far, these 2 are my favs!
Usually true, but she has Type 1 and an insulin pump, so while it will still present challenges, the meal times/structure is not near as important as with needle therapy. My daughter is a type 1 and is 5 years old, and moving her to a pump was the best thing we ever did.

I have my fingers crossed they will win .

I imagine that with her having a serious medical condition that could mean life or death that TAR has improvised something for her. Maybe snacks in her backback or the camera man assigned to them carries something for her if she needs to eat. I can't imagine that they would be negligent in a matter that could result in a serious lawsuit.

This is my favorite team along with the father and son. I'm not sure if they'll be the strongest all female team but I hope they go far.

So far, they seem like the strongest team. It seems like the only thing that can keep them from the final three is bad luck as in a bad taxi driver or a flat tire.

They've always been my favorite team so am happy to see them do so well. I'd love for them to be the first female team to win TAR.

This team is my favorite team. They never seem to panic(maybe because of the nature of their jobs) and I love the way they enjoy each leg of the race. They remind me of the hippies a few seasons back. They also enjoyed the whole experience.
