Well, especially Brandy (the dark haired one); several people said Carol wasn't as bad---not exactly praise, I know.

I think the nasty wasn't really related to sexual orientation. They would have still been viewed as mean and nasty had they been hetero, imho.
You're right. The nasty seemed to be because of being egotistical snobs not lesbians. They weren't even nasty but fun to watch. Just nasty. :(
As a fellow gay person, I was so shocked and offended by Brandy's behavior. At least Carol attempted to clap for Brent and Catie. For Brandy to kick a girl nearly half her age when she's down is just despicable.
Thank god Carol saw the true Brandy on the race and cut it loose.
