I think their silence is [was] more of a strategic consideration than anything. I'm sure they had many 'psychal fetters' which prevented them from broadcasting the exact nature of their relationship at this early juncture: the Race is stressful and grueling enough--perhaps they instinctively knew not to add fuel to the fire. as being a gay married couple next door to West Hollywood is likely less challenging than being a loud and proud gay married couple in the situation they were in. These guys may be overly adequate in a great many aspects, but they are still human, with attendant frailities....but they weren't sure whether or not to tell the other teams they were a couple? I mean, that's totally their choice to keep secret or whatever, but if they're trying to make this big statement on TV, they could make that same statement on a personal level too. It's a bit inconsistent. Still, I like this team alot.
Just between me and you, I'm wondering if their alliance partners, David and Jeff, are as "straight" as they [Reichen and Chip] pegged them?
