Re: To pee or not to pee?
It would have made every reality tv clip for the rest of my life, but I would have left a trail straight through China. I ate bugs, had a mental breakdown at a pool, been through all of this stress, and a little pee pee is going to take it all away from me? I don't think so! I would not have said a word, just let it flow all the way to the mat. She would have been able to shower and change right afterwards....not like she had more racing to do.
Re: To pee or not to pee?
I'd have peed on the mat. Of course it is easy for me to say from the comfort of my chair with a bathroom 10 feet away and no money in the mix. :lol
Re: To pee or not to pee?
I would have wet my pants for sure. Hell, it wouldn't have the first time. :whistle

Combined with the issue of human dignity, I vote "Pee"!!!

My thoughts exactly--she was so covered up, and sweating under all that makeup anyway, I doubt it would have been noticeable, at least not enough to say for sure she'd peed herself. Especially if she didn't bother stopping! As for knowing she had to go after drinking all that water, she still would have lost the time, most likely. There didn't appear to be any place that would have public restrooms handy to the food cart.
(Does anyone know if, as I have heard, professional bike racers go ahead and P while riding in those long races like Tour de France? It does make sense, what with all the strategizing over position, and the length of the races...)

It was both of them. I personally will admit to wearing a Depend while on a bus trip into Denali NP--it was an eight hour driving time trip, and there were no stops listed other than the turn around point, unless you wanted to risk trying to get a ride in the next bus by, which would probably be full. The bus did in fact actually stop several times on the 'out' trip, as I suspected it would, but I was ready just in case! :lol
Re: To pee or not to pee?
I wouldn't not have peed in the cab.... ew, but running to mat! Yes, especially given the clothing.

I hear ya...childbirth is the cause of having to stop/clench/sneeze/proceed
Since she stopped to pee in the same location of the pit stop that blows my mind, I would have stepped on that mat THEN went on a portapotty search.
I wonder if Jen thinks about losing the million every time she pees.
Re: To pee or not to pee?
Granted I don't know how long the checking in process lasts, but a chance at million bucks was at stake. Like many others, I don't know if it would have even been noticed, and even if it was, so what? Acccidents happen. I'm not going to fault someone who has a weak bladder. It's not like she was peeing on someone else.
