Not only is she exhibiting absolutely no patience, she is also not enjoying the scenery/culture of the places they are racing through. She made a comment about the water while on that boat, hoping that they didn't have to swim in it and comparing it to the pools/water in Florida. Also made some negative comment about the flooded streets they were driven through. She's been negative about some of the other cities/countries they have already been in, as well. :nono
All of the water comments were from Cara, actually. They didn't rub me the wrong way, personally. I mean, I would be thankful not to be swimming in the water also. It doesn't look very appealing. But if I was on TAR and would have to do a task in the water, then I would deal, as I'm sure Cara would have also. The Florida comparison may have seemed a little much, but again, it didn't rub me the wrong way.
And how can someone enjoy driving through flooded streets?
ETA: Does anyone else think that Jaime might reach Flo-status soon with the way her attitude has been?
Oh God, I can still see Flo hanging over that cliff freaking out that she couldn't do that challenge! And when they had to ride those bikes with all the baskets on top! LOL Poor Zac!
I don't know which one of the reds has done the most challenges, but Flo did none! So Jaime, to me, is nowhere near Flo-status yet.
I mentioned those comments on the water, etc., because it was in direct comparison to Margie and Luke's riding in their boat appreciating the landmarks along the shores. The only thing Margie has complained about has been the heat, need to rehydrate. These two, Jaime, in particular, have been the ugly American team several times this season.

I agree that Jaime is rude quite often but still like the team. I know she's saying what she's saying but wonder about the editing. I haven't seen her treat Cara badly which is more than you can say for a lot of previous racers. She's a peach compared to Mirna in the all stars. Yikes.
I can't stand this team because of Jaime's attitude. Uh, honey, YOU are in THEIR country! Show some respect, or at least some class. For all her bitching & moaning, I don't think it's helped them race any better (although they're doing well). If anything, freaking out & not keeping composure under pressure may hurt them (here's to hoping!) I'm waiting for one of the locals to dish her nasty attitude right back at her.
You know, I am so surprised that Jamie has no patience with non-English speakers. Living in South Florida, I can tell you that a lot of people here speak English as a second language. Not to mention the large number of people here who are bi or mutli-lingual. We are a mixture of a lot of South American and Caribbean cultures as well as European influences. In my classroom alone, one year I had 7 different languages spoken at home. You would think someone who was schooled on how to appear on TV would try to appear a little more gracious in someone else's land. However, she was probably a mean girl in high school and all the way through and used to people kowtowing to her.
