Stay. They throw an interesting change-up into the game. Though I prefer when they save one of the teams I like, rather than one of the ones I don't (of course).

Stay. They usually save a team I like. The only time where a NEL helped out a team I absolutely loathed was Eric & Danielle, and they went on to win the whole race (still a little bitter about that).

Go. No do overs. You're last, you're gone. Sure it's saved teams I've liked before so I've been happy about that. It's saved teams I've hated and I take the good with the bad. There's just something that always bothered me about being lucky enough to suck at the right time in the race and being able to stay. Perhaps they are necessary though. If a person was sure they were last and sure that there was no NEL, why complete the task, why continue to move quickly when you know it's over. It's a catch 22.
I've always hated them, they need to go. The episodes always feel like filler to me.
That's a tough question! I finally chose go. If they need to get the extra episodes then why not just make a couple of double legs. They have done that before when a lot has happened, so just add another detour or roadblock or even make the pitstop in another country.

I never liked them until last year when the losing team had a penalty in the form of either first place or a time penalty. then I kind of liked them. Even a good racer can have a bad leg, so it is good to let them redeem themselves by racing hard the next episode.
