I agree with JR...yay for rule #2!
I like Rule #2 also, but not crazy about #1 (since it is a spoiler, guess I can't give the reasons now, lol).
I'm surprised that TAR12 seems to have come out of nowhere. It's like I literally know its premiere only mere days from actual showing. I know it's a mid-season replacement but this is still surprising. Also, the official website seems to have dumped most of the extras like videos of team interviews. Is it just me or did anyone else notice?
next season they need to bring back the non elims. 30,000 miles? SHORTEST. RACE. EVER!
Eeecchhh!!! We should badger CBS to bring back up the budget for this show.
I think once the season gets underway they'll add more to the site. I remember them doing that one other season (maybe it was AS). If they knew there was a chance that TAR12 might be a replacement (and given the reviews for Viva Laughlin, how could they not?) I am surprised they seem unprepared. But hey, it's CBS we're talking about.Originally Posted by Destron;2641992;
I am "amazed" at all the commercials I have been seeing for this season of TAR.
Morning, noon, and night, they air constantly....during my local morning, noon, evening and late news, my soap operas, and prime time TV.
(And, no I am NOT complaining!)
It's just that I can't recall this many for any other season.
It's probably because it is starting so last-minute. The other seasons we knew the start date well in advance and could plan our viewing accordingly. They probably want to make sure the regular fans know it is starting now (rather than mid-season, when it was originally scheduled to air), as well as getting new fans to watch. I hope the heavy promotion helps the show's ratings.Originally Posted by MamaC;2645261;
