Diane is probably just playing safe with her answers or else, she might spill more beans than what her confidentiality contract stipulates. I'm sure she knows more than what she cares (or is allowed) to share.

On the other hand, if it is an editing oversight on the part of the show, then shame on them for letting that pass.
