I 100% agree that Richard should not be on TAR. For the sole reason that he has already won a cool million. If he had not, then I'd think he could be an option, and possibly be entertaining. Pompous, annoying, and unfortunately probably naked at some point, but definitely less grating than the Alison/Donny-combo was. Not a big fan of his, but his straight-shooting, tell-it-like-it-is approach could be interesting.
With that said, being against Richard, I really enjoyed Rudy on his first Survivor stay. Late in the game, that challenge where he walked around the island saying over and over again "I don't know" to all of the questions was just too funny. If you didn't see it there's no way that explanation I just gave would even seem remotely funny, but if you did see it you probably agree. And, in that one confessional, when he was talking about Richard, and says something like "I like Rich, ......., not in a homosexual way" was just priceless.
A Survivor combo TAR team that I could live would be Rudy/BigTom. Neither winners, both pretty comical at times. And, honestly, not really probably a threat to win it.
We all survived Alison pretty much unscathed. And either her involvement and/or TAR5's placement with BB on Tue night may have been some part of the improvement in the ratings, currently above ALL prior TARs including those that were on during regular TV seasons. So, if they've got some plans brewing for a not-too-distant-TAR season to include a Survivor team and try to tie it in with a current Survivor show, then that would be great. Losing one "regular" team so that many more seasons can be had is not that high a price to pay.
Just my $0.02.
You're just reminding me that the current crop of Big Brother chipmunks have been talking about how they want to go on TAR just like Alison and Donny.
I wish they would leave TAR unsullied! :phhht
