There's a story on the internet about someone seeing the end of Amazing Race and taking pictures. This forum won't let me put a link here but search for "hasbrouck amazing race" to find it.

If it's legit, how come nobody's talking about it?

Which brings up a question I was thinking while watching TAR last night.

What if someone recognizes that the people running by them (w/cameras following) are on TAR.. lets just say they TRIP someone....like, lets just say..Ohhh.. Allison. So she trips, the person laughs...Allison loses that leg of the race and is eliminated. Wouldn't she have grounds for contesting it? What would they do?

Seems to me she wouldn't be able to contest it. Wouldn't tripping over a leg be considered an "obstacle". As long as it's not sabotage by another racer, c'est la guerre.

first of all, that won't work, did you see how her fat butt bounced off that step at the hotel? she'd just bounce off all that baby fat she has and keep on going.

yeah, first thought I had was, "there's an added expence to the show, to repair the major damage that fat can just did to that step. Probly had to go back and re-inforce the structure to repair the damage".
