Maybe they revised the penalty rule because of Chip and Dale last season figuring that the advantage someone gets usually offsets the penalty.

Mirna thinks the chips is a sign.... because they go to the casino all the time... but Charla points out that they always lose... I'm not liking them as much as I did before...

Yeah, to me it seemed a bit over-PC to like them because the prodcuers were setting us up to. I mean... you could notice that Charla is willing to use her physical status for deliberate pity... and either admire her brains or think it's sad. And you could look at Mirna's cheerleading for her cousin as either heroic or as somewhat unpleasant and unintentionally condescending (you know... you say someone is great so many times so loudly they may think you are actually meaning the opposite).

Charla can't help being slow, but sure is strong--and perhaps pretty crafty. But she's counterbalanced by the fact that Mirna appears to be kind of dumb.
