I was personally moved by the "but we have to take a boat" comment, to which Alison replied, "a ferry is a boat." Wow. The intelligence (or lack thereof) of some people is shocking.

I think Allison and Donny will be VERY competative and will be totally in this game NO MATTER what.
On that note, however, all of these people are going into this for another reason besides the money (i.e. to move their relationship, grow with Daughter and Father). They are ONLY in it for the money.
How can these two grow??? They fight all of the time!!! She cheated on him on National TV.
They are completely wrong for each other and downright verbally abusive.
Case in Point- his comment to her that she likes to be in control and her response that 'no, she just likes to control him'.
A true Timex relationship- takes a licken and still keeps on ticken
I don't want them to win BUT I want them to stay in till the end.
It makes my life look normal.

I was prepared to hate them, but was actually impressed by the way Alison played the first leg. As others have already pointed out, she didn't make the mistake that the others made, and her instinct about "missing a clue" when they entered the casino was right on.

And Donny? He's cute, but missing some brain matter. Seems to have doormat issues as well. And he still wonders why they're together. Wake up, dude!

Sadly, I will have to admit Ali a smart person in the race.
She checked which flight got earlier to Uruguay,
Knew only 3 times were available on the trees,
And knew they had to find a clue before proceeding onto the detour.
They really did deserve to get first place
