CBS Announces TAR6 Starts This Fall

According to them, CBS has TAR6 in their fall lineup!!!

2 seasons back-to-back!

WOOHOO!!! That is GREAT, GREAT news!
TAR is my addiction and clearly my favorite reality-show. I can't get enough of it. This is EXCELLENT news that we will get another dose of TAR directly after TAR 5. (And I'm expecting to need it with Allison Irwin on this season..) This is gonna make up for having to wait for TAR 4 & 5 the last 2 summer's. I'm excited!

I doubt it's in the fall lineup... AR6 filming is scheduled to start in August, so that's unlikely. However, it'll probably be on midseason... and it has indeed been greenlighted. http://www.thefutoncritic.com/cgi/go...wswire&id=6575

Yes, but I doubt that it'd air almost immediately after TAR5... they'd maybe want to give it a little bit of time.

It's hard to believe that TAR 5 hasn't even started yet and we're already talking about TAR 6. TAR 5 must have turned out great!

From the articles I've read, people have said CBS must have been happy with how TAR5 turned out when they've already started casting and given the okay. I haven't heard about being on in the fall, I've heard either mid-season or even summer 2005 (although I can't believe they'd wait a whole year to show it.) Another Emmy might determine how soon it gets on the air.

Some people speculate that they want it ready to go in case one of their other shows doesn't work out and they need a replacement.
