I can't wait to watch both TAR5 & TAR6.
I'm excited too. I was disappointed with last season because I didn't like any of the couples as much as I liked Blake and Paige but I'm all for this one! It's been too long of a break.Even more awesome if they're airing TAR6 soon after.
Although the article lists TAR as a "Returning Show", it doesn't mean that it will be on in the fall. Quite a few other reality shows are listed as "Returning", but I doubt we'll see them all on the air at once. (For example, American Idol is listed as "Returning" for Fox, and that has started in January the past two seasons.)
According to Thursday's Variety (referenced here):
Midseason is fine with me. Personally, I wouldn't mind having a break between TAR5 and TAR6 -- just as long as it's not a year!No decisions have been made about when "Race 6" will air; midseason or summer 2005 are the most likely options.
YES YES YES It's about time... great to see 2 seasons back to back... may TAR be more successful that fear factor![]()
We should have a clearer picture as to when TAR 6 will air next season (2004-05) after the CBS upfront presentation later this week.

But i found out its Wednesday when we get to find out...CBS presents on wednesday...hopefully AR6 is on it![]()
Tough to see AR 6 starting in the fall seeing as how the race won't be run until August. I bet you anything it is a mid season replacement. Could be wrong, but when the fall season starts they could literally still be running the race. Would be cool to have the race going on while we are watching it. That would be a writer/producer/editors worst nightmare but it would be very cool.
As Sonic-TAR said, it can be done, with TAR3 having been filmed in August and then shown in October. There might be a chance that it'll be on in the fall, and maybe TPTB are saying that just in case one of their new shows bomb and they need a quick filler (seeing as how most networks only wait a couple of weeks before pulling a show off the air.) The other advantage to starting it in the fall is it might not have as much competition on the air. I'm still guessing midseason, though.Originally Posted by nairb247
TAR6 has officially been announced on the CBS fall lineup. Saturdays at 9pm, which is a sucky slot, but it's confirmed.
