Well, we know CBS is pretty tight with what they do/don't allow the Racers to do/say until the show has concluded its run on TV. So, they probably had to okay them to gather at this party, no? After all it was at a casino in Las Vegas in plain view of the public. In several other pictures you can see the slot machines, etc in the background with non-attendees in the pictures (some seem interested in the party, others not so much). We're not talking about a private gathering in a home with friends and family. Sidenote--From what I understand the Racers that attended this party did bring friends and/or family and the attendance was upwards of 200 or so.
So, let's speculate for a minute that Millie & Chuck are the next eliminated. Then, the party is only missing the top 5, right? So, again let's speculate that CBS is behind this wisdom. They okayed all but the top 5 to attend. Well, that pretty much ruins any chance of a pre-TAR5 party in a public setting. At least one in which a large group of teams is missing. Everyone would assume (right or wrong) that the missing teams are the ones that make it past all those in attendance.
Even if a team other than M&C is eliminated next and gets 6th place, that doesn't dismiss the speculation about the party. Maybe Millie & Chuck get 5th place, that still means that the top places aren't at the party. Unless M&C win (or maybe make the top 3) I guess we'll wonder about the party.
Unless we can find out from those top finishers not in attendance whether they were not allowed to attend, we'll really never know.
It also should be noted that there were several attendees from previous TARs, collectively more than there were from TAR4. The non-TAR4 attendees seemed to be mostly (but not all, unless they've moved) 'West Coast' teams living near the party. They were not all low-place finishers in their respective races. Brennan, Guidos, Tara, Flo, Ken, and Derek/Drew did well in their races. Nancy/Emily, Shola/Doyin, Preachers, Michael/Kathy were middle-pack finishers. Don't think (other than TAR4) there were any low-place finishers. I think if I'm ever a TAR alum, whether I'm 1st or 12th, and there's a TAR party in Las Vegas---I'm there.
I guess it is possible, but unlikely, that other Teams were in attendance, but haven't been mentioned in articles about the party or pictures from the party.
I believe someone speculated that TAR4 Monica & Sheree organized this party. I don't know about that, but here is what I had read previously elsewhere. TAR1 Guidos received a forwarded email invite from TAR1 Brennan. Later at the party Guidos 'determined' that the email was originally from TAR4 Chris (of Chris & Amanda). So, who really knows. I wouldn't have guessed that Chris would be behind it, but who knows.

edited cause I just had a thought, Why doesn't someone ask dave who threw the party, he was there. he could at least tell us that much couldn't he?
