I am starting to dislike AR due to the casting being so similar each season. It is always the young alpha male team no matter how dumb they are in the F3 due to strength and speed, the bickering couple, the models, etc. All the interesting teams seem to go so quickly and it becomes the same ole. Now with AS it will be worse cause now not only are we casting the same types of teams but the same teams to fill those types ho hum. America is so full of diversified ppl and yet we get the same ones each season. This will be a pass for me as BB Allstars was lame lame lame and Romber is so over that seeing them again no ty.

So I missed TES today, and while Dustin/Kandice were on, everyone is saying it was a taped interview. And around the web people are saying Dustin is MIA and said she was going on a vacation with her husband.

I guess that means they're going to be on AS!

They weren't on The Finish Line, either. I'm still not willing to get completely excited, but it is looking more and more like they're on.

I posted this on the previous page regarding a siting:

Quote:
I found this spoiler on Sucks with an AS siting (and I'll put it in spoiler tags for those that don't want to be spoiled by location or a team that made it past the first couple of legs) [[Complete with a photo of one member of Joe/Bill aka Team Guido from TAR1, the poster spotted them at an airport in Argentina booking flights to South Africa. The race reportedly started in Miami and I've been reading that people think the first destination was Ecuador, which would probably make Argentina the second and/or third legs of the race. So Joe/Bill survive at least the first few eliminations. So it looks like we have Charla/Mirna and Romber, along with Joe/Bill more or less confirmed by sightings.]]

All Stars without Rob & Amber is like BBAS without Dr. Will. David & Mary? Puh. Better than having Bama back I guess. But still. Puh. Other than Boston Rob, Colin's the best racer in TAR. I wouldn't be surprised by them giving Mirna & Shmirna another chance for me to not like them.

Jonathan and Victoria would be surprising to not see, but it would also save me from having to hold my remote so I can adjust the volume every couple seconds. The hippies were starting to get old at the end of their season. Can you imagine Kim having to do a road block? Chip, they did you a favor.

Uchenna & Joyce were already handed one win. That's enough.

From 9, I'd like to see Eric & Jeremy, and definitely Dustin & Kandice from this year.

Guidos were good quality racers.

I'm reasonably comfortable with the casting so far, even if it could use some improvement.

Rob & Amber got a lot of help in TAR7, but in fairness, it didn't appear that it was all based on celebrity. It was their personalities and willingness to ask, which most people don't get is an option, that helped a lot.

I thought Survivor All Stars was the best one, although BBAS sucked pretty bad because they invited the entire cast of season 6 back, none of which were all that interesting/good to begin with.

By what standard were they good racers? Anyone that almost gets eliminated after winning a fast forward (and rightly should have) is not by most definitions considered 'good' racers.

One mistake, no matter how large, does not automatically disqualify someone from being a good team. They learned a lesson that several other teams have since also learned: a fast forward is not a guarantee. Leading up to that, they were always in the front of the pack. They had travel experience and a language background, with reasonable awareness of directions and an understanding that it was a race. I didn't care for them, although they're fairly tame as reality villains, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be back (granted, they wouldn't be on the top of my list).

tyler james
eric jeremy
drew derek
colin christi
chris jon
jill john vito
( No CHARLA MIRNA I hated those two, they were so bad at playing too!)
I don't think they should have past winners...unless tyler and james win this season ofcourse!)
