Didn't the clue tell them to go to a restaurant though? I personally would assume a challenge at a restaurant would involve eating of some sort.

In their interviews they said it told them to "sit next to a hookah" (middle eastern pipe thing) and they thought it would involve smoking or branding themselves(???)

That is really weird. I don't have the episode tivo'd so I can't really recall the exact wording of the clue.

Sure it's disgusting and swimming in gooey, congealed fat that would make you ill just by looking at it, but for a million bucks I could go for it and I'd be glad it wasn't sheep's eye balls or testicles.
