    AAG Moving to ABC Family

ABC FAMILY TO AIR "ALL AMERICAN GIRL'S" LAST TWO ORIGINAL EPISODES, INCLUDING FINALE IN WHICH WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED

Eighth Episode Will Air This Thursday, May 1

Series Marathon, Including Season Finale, to Air Saturday, May 24

ABC Family will air the last two original episodes of the ABC series "All American Girl," beginning with the eighth episode this THURSDAY, MAY 1 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT). An "All American Girl" eight-hour marathon, plus the exciting finale announcing the winner, will air SATURDAY, MAY 24 (1:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT).

"All American Girl" premiered on ABC Family on March 30 (8:00-11:00 p.m.) with a three-hour marathon that increased the time period history by +38% with Women 18-34 (203,000 vs. 147,000) and +24% among Women 18-49 (364,000 vs. 294,000). "All American Girl's" highest ratings were among ABC Family's targeted audience of Women 18-34 (0.9), Teens 12-17 (0.9) and Female Teens (1.8).

In Thursday's episode, the girls with the least number of votes from last week will be eliminated and revealed in a dramatic opening, and the remaining contestants will continue on their quest. The remaining finalists perform songs individually for the first time to showcase their talent ability, a spectacular challenge will test all areas of fitness, and the finalists will have the opportunity to select a topic in which they feel knowledgeable and be quizzed for one minute to demonstrate their intelligence. At the conclusion of the competition Thursday, America will have one last chance to vote by calling the toll-free number of the finalist of their choice or by voting on the Internet at ABC.com keyword: All American. The "All American Girl" winner will be revealed in the season finale on Saturday, May 24 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT).

The 6 girls who participated in last week's challenge are:

    Geri Halliwell's Team
    Kristi, 23, Kerrville, TX
    Jessica, 22, Columbus, OH
    Monica, 22, Charlotte, NC
    Kira, 20, Seward, NE

    John Salley's Team
    Andrea, 20, Orange, CA

    Suzanne de Passe's Team
    Natalie, 21, Anderson, IN

Pop superstar Geri Halliwell, NBA legend John Salley and entertainment executive extraordinaire Suzanne de Passe coach their team of finalists through rigorous training in an effort to have one of their young women chosen as the ultimate American dream girl. Hosting the show is comedic actor Mitch Mullany.

"All American Girl" is produced by 19 Entertainment. Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe are executive producers, Marilyn Wilson and Conrad Green will serve as co-executive producers, James Breen is supervising producer and Tom Boles is coordinating producer.

    Correction

The show that originally supposed to air tonight will not air until May 8th. Oh yea and there will be a twist to that episode as well.
    Unbelievable.

The twist will be if it actually airs, even on ABC Family. Sigh.

There was a problem with voting in the Central time zone, so they're going to air it again with the 6 girls from last time and you vote on one of those...that will be the last time the public will vote. So no one is kicked off on May 8. That's what I heard from Monica's mom.
