    luckily, i caught this episode when they replayed it tonight. this one was AWESOME. and i think the best part is he didn't have just anybody go and live on minimum wage ... HE DID IT. granted, his "poor days" were over in 30 days, but i appreciated the fact that he did it himself.

    back in '85 when my daughter was a baby, and i had a two year old son, my ex husband made minimum wage ... $4.25 an hour ($10K a year). we couldn't afford to pay everything that we needed to pay to live, so we went to social services for help. we were turned down because our income was "middle class". BUT ... they told me if i left my husband, they could support me and my kids and they would go after him for child support.

    welfare is a racket.
